Important Update: October 12 and 13 Ballet Concerts

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are announcing that our Western Symphony program, a collaboration with St. Louis Ballet to be held October 12 and 13, will not be a part of our concert schedule this year. The ballets will be performed, but without CMSSL providing the live music. We are disappointed with this turn of events, but look forward to renewing our partnership with St. Louis Ballet as soon as possible. If your CMSSL Subscription includes ticket(s) to these performance, we are offering the following options for your consideration: · Exchange your October 12 or 13 ticket(s) for an equivalent number of seats to either our November 25 “D. Bach L” program, narrated by Leonard Slatkin, or our February 10 “Nicholas McGegan Returns” concert, to be held in the E. Desmond Lee Concert Hall. · Exchange your ticket(s) for the “concert only” portion of our September 9  “Vintage” Gala, held in The Sheldon Concert Hall, and featuring guest artists pianist Olga Kern and violinist Cho Liang Lin. · Request a refund for the purchase price of your October 12 or 13 ticket · Return your October 12 or 13 tickets for a tax-deductible donation Please fill out this form with your response. By clicking “submit” your response will have been received. If an October 12 or 13 performance of the ballet was included in your subscription, please inform us of your choice by August 23 so appropriate actions/tickets can be processed. Fill out the short “Easy Ballet Ticket Exchange Form” above with your choice or call us at 314-941-6309 during business hours. If you wish to attend one of the ballet performances (no longer a part of our subscription series), you can access tickets by clicking below:

May 6 Concert Review: “Popular Fare Need Not Be Light Entertainment”

“…The selections never lacked for tappable rhythms and hummable melodies…” READ REVIEW in St. Louis American by Chris King Review Prelude: “The St. Louis American Foundation was not alone in paying posthumous recognition to Michael F. Neidorff in 2024. The recipient of an unprecedented posthumous award at the foundation’s 2024 Salute to Excellence in Business, Neidorff also is the namesake of the Chamber Music Society of St. Louis’ 15th Anniversary concert series this year. The society’s Vienna-themed performance on Monday, May 6 was so lively and life-affirming that it called death itself into question.”
