BEETHOVEN AND WINTERMUSIC PROMOTION

Dear Chamber Friends,

On Monday evening, we hope to send you into the holidays inspired and entertained by “Write On, Ludwig a program of music that centers on Beethoven who was born in mid-December 1770. Actually, this is Ludwig’s two hundred and fifty second birthday. The concert will include music by Beethoven, a piece by a prominent student of his, and a short solo piano work that…well…maybe it is and maybe it isn’t written by Ludwig.
Pianist Brian Woods will be joined by the SLSO Principal Flute Matthew Roitstein making his first appearance with The Chamber along with colleagues bassoonist Hank Skolnick, oboist Cally Banham, clarinetist Tzuying Huang, and horn player Tricia Jöstlein. All ticket holders are invited to a post-concert reception honoring our Concert Sponsor Dorsey Ellis.
