Wendy Hershey is a Client Advisor and Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. She works with high net worth individuals on their complex wealth management needs, including investments, banking, lending, and wealth transfer planning. Wendy also advises endowments and foundations on their investment portfolios. She has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
Early in her career, Wendy developed her passion for personal wealth management at Ameriprise Financial (IDS/American Express) and gained valuable institutional consulting knowledge at State Street Global Advisors, both in Boston. Following graduate school, Wendy was recruited to J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Houston, where she was a Banker. Most recently, Wendy spent 10 years consulting to non-profits, first with Mercer and then Asset Consulting Group. She was thrilled to be asked to re-join J.P. Morgan in December 2018. Wendy graduated with a M.B.A. in Finance from Vanderbilt University and a B.A. in East Asian Studies at Wesleyan University.
Wendy lives with her husband, Dr. Steven Samuel, and three children. Expressing her passion for education, music, animal protection, and investing, Wendy serves on the board of the SouthSide Early Childhood Center, Chamber Music Society of St. Louis, and the Humane Society of St. Louis. She is co-founder and President of the St. Louis Women In Investments Network and co-founder of the Responsible Investing Collaborative of St. Louis.
