As a senior associate in Armstrong Teasdale’s Litigation practice group, Katie is a dynamic litigation attorney known for her skill in navigating complex disputes and delivering outstanding results for her clients. She represents clients across a wide range of matters, including product liability, asbestos, diacetyl, earplug, and talc litigation, as well as contract disputes and premises liability defense. She is recognized for her strengths in trial work, mediation, settlement negotiations, and her dedication to pro bono service.
In addition to her practice, Katie serves as an adjunct assistant professor at Saint Louis University School of Law, where she teaches Legal Methods in the Academic Resources Center. Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, she practiced at a national litigation firm and worked as a corrections officer with the St. Louis County Department of Justice Services, giving her a unique perspective on the legal system.
Katie’s leadership extends beyond the courtroom. She is co-leader of Armstrong Teasdale’s PRIDE Resource Group and is deeply engaged in professional and community service, holding advisory and board roles with organizations such as the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, CASA of St. Louis, the St. Louis Zoo Young Professionals, and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.
Her outstanding work has earned numerous accolades, including recognition in The Best Lawyers in America® Ones to Watch, the Missouri Lawyers Weekly Women’s Justice and Diversity & Inclusion Awards, and the St. Louis Business Journal’s Business of Pride Award.
Katie holds a J.D. from Saint Louis University and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Lindenwood University, graduating summa cum laude. She is admitted to practice in Illinois, Missouri, West Virginia, and New York.
