Master Class

Free and open to the public.

This program is free to students.

The Master Class Series is open to St. Louis area music students to prepare and perform solo and chamber works. A CMSSL artist will guide each class as Instructor. Each student soloist and/or ensemble will have between 20 to 30 minutes to perform and receive feedback from the Instructor.  This Master Class format will allow both the students performing and those observing access to valuable guidance from the CMSSL artists. Students will not be charged for their participation. These classes run for a maximum of two hours in length and will be open to the public free of charge.

Students for the class must be a participant in a music program with a music instructor, a private lesson instructor, or similar musical guidance. The program will serve a diverse group of students from a wide range of area schools. The classes will be held at The Kranzberg Arts Center in Grand Center.  Preparation for the Master Class can include a solo instrument and/or chamber ensembles.

Please indicate your interest in participating, or placing students in this program to us by downloading Intent Form below. We will then coordinate with you to formulate a schedule for students to participate. Also specify the number of students and the instrument(s) you are recommending for participation.
